Artistic Statement

I started in broadcast video, and for a long time, everything I made was in motion. Over the years, as the landscape of multimedia shifted, my work shifted, pulling me across many new formats and platforms.

As a digital storyteller, I am a humanist, an environmentalist, and a documentarian. I capture people as they exist within their landscapes. I care about images that tell you something real without oversimplifying it. I'm drawn to moments that feel whole and not just a detail pulled from a larger story, but the story itself. Moment that are human.

I am now in a renewed season of growth, asking what this medium, at its most powerful, can ask of both myself and the audience.
